These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of RecoverTrail (the "App"), provided by Appmerge ("Appmerge," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), unless a separate custom EULA is provided in App Store Connect. RecoverTrail is a hunting recovery utility. It provides tools such as:
A Blood Lens that highlights likely blood/sign using on-device visual processing.
GPS recovery markers for shot, first blood, blood, and last sign.
Recovery map, route, weather, wind, and public land/access context.
Field recovery guide content.
Optional calibration and local training sample tools.
Recovery Pro subscriptions for unlimited premium use.
RecoverTrail is a field aid. It is not a guarantee of detection, recovery, safety, legal access, land ownership, or weather accuracy.
The App is not a medical device, emergency service, law-enforcement tool, or safety-critical navigation tool. It does not detect human blood, diagnose any condition, or replace professional judgment.
You are responsible for confirming all field sign with your own eyes and judgment.
You are solely responsible for:
Following all hunting, wildlife, firearm, weapon, trespass, land access, and recovery laws.
Obtaining permission before entering private land.
Respecting property boundaries and posted restrictions.
Using safe and ethical hunting and recovery practices.
Deciding whether, when, and where it is safe to continue a recovery.
Map, public access, parcel-ready, owner-lookup, and boundary information may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or inaccurate. Do not rely on the App as your only source for land access or legal decisions.
Weather, wind, sunrise, sunset, moon, and field-condition information may come from Apple Weather, Open-Meteo, or other providers. Weather information can be delayed, estimated, unavailable, or inaccurate. Always use your own judgment and local conditions.
The Blood Lens uses visual processing and color/sign highlighting. It may miss real sign or highlight non-blood objects, including false red colors, leaves, soil, fabric, reflections, screens, and low-light artifacts.
You must verify any highlighted area before acting on it. Do not make legal, safety, or recovery decisions based only on the App's visual overlay.
RecoverTrail may offer a limited evaluation and auto-renewable subscriptions for Recovery Pro.
Subscription pricing, billing period, trial availability, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown before purchase in the App Store purchase flow. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple's subscription rules before the renewal date.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription. Restore Purchase is available in the App where supported.
We may change subscription features or pricing in the future, subject to applicable law and App Store rules.
You may create or store recovery markers, notes, calibration feedback, and optional training samples. You are responsible for any content you create, save, export, or share.
Do not use the App to record or share unlawful, harmful, private, or rights-infringing content.
You agree not to:
Use the App for unlawful hunting, trespass, poaching, harassment, stalking, or unsafe activity.
Reverse engineer, copy, modify, or misuse the App except as allowed by law.
Interfere with the App, its services, subscriptions, or third-party providers.
Attempt to bypass subscription access controls.
Use the App in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
The App may rely on third-party services, including Apple, AppActor, Open-Meteo, ArcGIS public land services, and future parcel-data providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, data accuracy, policy changes, or service limitations.
The App, including its design, text, software, graphics, logos, and other content, is owned by Appmerge or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive only a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App according to these Terms and the applicable App Store license terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not warrant that the App will detect blood, recover game, show accurate property boundaries, identify landowners, provide complete public access data, or prevent legal, safety, or field risks.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appmerge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, property, opportunity, game, or access, arising from or related to your use of the App.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue App features at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or use the App unlawfully. You may stop using the App at any time. Subscription cancellation must be handled through your Apple Account settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Appmerge is established, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
