This page explains how to request deletion of your data for RecipeMe (by CartScan), available on Google Play.
Almost all RecipeMe data — your fridge contents, favorites, shopping lists, and preferences — is stored only on your device and never reaches our servers. Photos you scan are analyzed in real time and deleted immediately; they are never stored.
The only data held off-device is your subscription record, stored on our behalf by RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. It consists of an anonymous user ID, your purchase and subscription history (plan, price, dates, trial and refund status), Google Play purchase tokens, and basic device information.
If you have an active subscription, cancel it first through the Google Play app (Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).
Email recipiemesupport@jesuapps.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". If possible, include your anonymous app user ID (available by contacting support through the app), which helps us locate your record.
We will delete your subscription record within 90 days and confirm by reply email.
Your anonymous user ID and your full purchase and subscription history held by RevenueCat are permanently deleted. After deletion, past purchases can no longer be restored in the app.
Nothing is retained on our servers — we do not operate our own databases of user data. Google Play keeps its own record of your transactions under Google's policies, which we do not control. Data stored locally on your device is removed by tapping Settings → Clear All Fridge Data in the app, or by uninstalling RecipeMe.
