On Nov 11, 2020, Aaron Perry frantically addressed the Council about reasons for not living in District 12.
This prompted the Committee to Recall Aaron Perry to ask the following questions:
Why did it take his November 9th arrest to prompt this email to the Common Council two days later on November 11?
Why did it take the City Attorney, Brain Running, to write a memo (see below) on November 14, 2020 to share a "brief refresher" on the requirements for Council members to reside in their districts?
Why is Aaron talking to the previous Council President? Rodriguez was elected in April of 2020.
It is the committee's belief that this was not made in "good faith" and deceptively made with his fingers crossed behind his back.
Here is a memo dated November 14, 2020 to the Common Council that details the residency requirements for council members.
The Committee to Recall Aaron Perry believes that Aaron Perry:
Ceased to be a resident of District 12, because he does not "live" in the common everyday understanding of that term, in District 12
Lives at 1408 Rockridge Rd #384 in District 14, where he spends most of his non-working time.
Is deceptively "crossing his fingers behind his back" when claiming his residency .
Perry responds to police report about hospitalization - Note in this article he shares he will stay with his parents which is in District 12, but does not live with them. He lives at 1408 Rockridge #384.
