Side Effects:

• Radiation: Rebis emits extreme atmospheric radiation from hir body all the time. It is a high enough level to kill anyone in a room with them, painfully, within minutes unless they are somehow immune to hir radiation. If they cannot be killed but can be hurt, or have an increased resilience in some way, it will still cause them a torturous amount of pain to be in the same room with them while zie is unbandaged. It does, however, wear specially-treated radiation-proof bandages all over hir body whenever zie is in a non-radiation-proof room or with other people.

  • Radiation Control: Unlike Larry, who could not control his radiation at all, Rebis has a limited amount of control over hir radiation, and can suppress it with difficulty for up to a few hours with minimal damage.

    • Activation of Meta-Gene/granting someone superpowers: However, exposure to hir radiation during this process could result in the individual having their meta-gene activated if they have one, or giving them superpowers, as happened with Kate Godwin, who became a superhero known as Coagula once she got her powers by sleeping with Rebis (player permission).

  • Technology Interference: Rebis cannot use technology well when unbandaged unless suppressing the radiation, as hir radiation interferes with it. Even when suppressing the radiation, it is enough to make the phone a bit glitchy, but not enough to render it useless.

• Burn Scars: Rebis's body still has the scars of severe third-degree and fourth-degree burns all over hir body from Larry's crash, although they are not as extensive as Larry's were, due to the influence of Eleanor Poole's body. zie is bald, though.

• Immunity to Poisons and Viruses: The downside to being immune to poisons and viruses is that hir body cannot tell the difference between a substance that is trying to help them and one that is trying to hurt it. This means most medications also will not work on them, again, unless they are supernatural in some way.

• No Food or Drink: Not only does zie not need to eat or drink to sustain hirself, when they do it feels and tastes strange to them, and hir body doesn’t digest it right. They can, however, still benefit from something of a supernatural origin that must be ingested to benefit it. This applies to supernatural food or drink that would have a negative effect on hir, as well – Despite not drinking anything, they do still occasionally need to pee.

Skills

• Medical Training: Eleanor Poole was a doctor before she was merged with Larry and Mercurius to become Rebis, and because of this, Rebis retains her medical knowledge and experience.

  • Surgery: As a doctor, Eleanor Poole has some surgical experience. As an expert on metahumans, she was trained in many fields.

  • Chemistry and Pharmaceuticals: She has extensive knowledge of medicines, including experimental ones developed to treat metahumans specifically.

  • Knowledge of metahuman and alien biology: She is adaptible to bizarre physiology, as metahumans tend to vary widely in their bodies and their unique medical needs due to their powers. In addition to studying metahumans, she has limited experience treating aliens as well.

• Military Training: Larry Trainor was an air force test pilot, and Rebis retains his military trainined and experience.

  • Piloting: As a former Air Force Test Pilot, Larry is an extremely skilled pilot. Piloting was one of the only things he ever really excelled at and flying is the only time he ever really felt at peace.

    • Aerial Navigation: Navigating planes through the air and great speed is tricky, but Larry’s skilled at it.

    • Land Navigation: Larry’s particularly good with direction, he is able to get his bearings quickly and figure out how to navigate on various types of terrain, including how to find his way back to any particular spot.

    • Celestial Navigation: One of the ways he’s able to do this is navigating with the help of the stars. He does it on land and in the air. It would also work well at sea, although he does not know how to sail.

    • Sharp Reflexes: Due to the speeds at which he travels, he has to have sharp reflexes in order to navigate at that speed.

  • Combat: Larry’s military training did provide him with some combat training. Mostly operating the weapons installed on an airplane, but some melee and missile combat, as well.

    • Hand-to-hand combat: Larry is not trained with swords or any melee weapons besides a knife, mostly for survival purposes and self-defense. He would do alright in an unarmed brawl assuming his opponent is not supernaturally or technologically enhanced somehow. 

    • Ranged-combat: He is, however, useful with guns. He was trained with them well in his military days. However, he does not use them often. Most combat he leaves to the Negative Spirit. He’s a great shot when shooting moving targets and working with armed vehicles, especially airplanes, as most of his experience with combat would be from fighter planes of some kind.

  • Survival Skills: Larry’s military training taught him how to survive in various environments. Urban, desert, forests, plains. Camping also helped with that. Although he doesn’t need most of that for himself anymore, he could help someone in need.

    • Resourcefulness: Larry is able to fashion weapons, create barriers, traps and shelters out of most things he has available. He is also able to get someone (and prepare it) food and water even under difficult circumstances.

• Horticulture: Larry spent 60 years caring for plants. He had a greenhouse back home and considers it an art. Although he has a particular interest in flowers (with orchids being his favorite), he has vast knowledge of all kinds of plants.

  • Medicinal Plants: Due to Eleanor's experience as a doctor, Rebis has more of an interest in medicinal plants and herbs than Larry did.

• Cooking: In addition to his resourceful survival skills and his knowledge of plants, Larry has expanded that skill of finding and preparing food into an art and a hobby. Like taking care of his plants, he finds cooking relaxing, despite not being able to eat it. He can, however, smell it, which is a sensory stimulation that, although hindered by the bandages, has not been completely taken away from him, like taste has, and touch has because of the bandages.

• Singing: Larry is a talented singer, although he doesn’t really do that in front of people much. He might be persuaded to, if someone finds out, as he is easy to talk into pretty much anything.
