I like to knit, and I enjoy learning about new and historical techniques in knitting, especially if they are quite obscure. You can see some of my projects on Ravelry (or all of them if you are also on Ravelry).

One of my biggest hobbies might be trying out new hobbies. Over the course of earning my PhD, I have tried my hand at:

I was very proud to be a volunteer member of the City of Edmonton Naming Committee from 2013-2018, and ever-so-briefly Chair of the same in 2018.
