I envision a world where under-served communities have equal access to AI-driven opportunities, empowering them to participate fully in the digital economy. So my mission as an individual is to bridge the digital gap in under-served communities by providing AI-powered tools for SMEs and schools while ensuring people have the foundational knowledge to use them effectively.
Being originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), I saw an opportunity to start where the need was greatest. To take a step toward this mission, I co-founded Congo Excel Technologies (CET) in April 2022. I recognized the country’s challenges—not just poor digital infrastructure but also a significant gap in digital literacy and the ability to contextualize technology. CET was created not just to deliver AI-powered tools but to build a strong foundation of digital knowledge, empowering the Congolese population to navigate and leverage technology effectively.
From April 2022 to December 2024, I led CET with the goal of expanding access to digital knowledge and resources and ensuring that people were equipped to engage with technology meaningfully harness its potential within their local context. CET was an important step in my broader mission, but my work in bridging the digital divide continues.
