After breaking down the characters, Rebecca stayed faithful to her choice of lounge-wear-inspired outfit, as described in the text.
Rebecca found the idea of a “tea dress” that ladies would wear would make sense for this narrative and I would be more familiar with the Victorian period picked for the setting.
