My name is Becca Comeaux I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and educator. I returned to school after a eight year hiatus to complete my degree in Education. Why? Let me tell you.
I have always had a desire to be a teacher, but life happens and sometimes our dreams get pulled on hold for our families. While I was still working in a school with the Special Education department, I realized I was not fulfilling my true calling. I do not regret those years because everyone I worked with and the job I did helped me grow and mature to be able to go into my next chapter.
Throughout those ten years I began my own family, my husband and I have three daughters.
Watching my then two daughters grow in their knowledge, and sometimes struggles with learning, confirmed even more that I needed to finish my degree. After my third daughter was born I decided to go back and complete my degree in Education. During this entire process of juggling work, school, and family, one thing remained constant that I wanted my daughters to see no matter obstacles what you can achieve your goals and dreams you set for yourself! They are my reason for wanting to be an expectational teacher. I want to help mold and grow children who will one day be great leaders of our community. My girls are my why.
