ABOUT ME
When I reflect on my own experience growing up in the public school system, it's easy to understand how I have found my professional home in ed tech marketing. I was fortunate enough to have a caring teacher in first grade who helped identify my dyslexia and get the treatment I needed. She changed my life.
While the journey to get here was not a straight line, I have been immersed in public education throughout my entire career. As the director of two embryonic statewide outdoor ecology programs, I had the opportunity to build and lead 5-15 person teams, develop curricula, establish stakeholder partnerships, and, the best part, create inspiring and informative educational opportunities for students.
In my more recent years in corporate marketing and business development, I have honed skills in every aspect of ed tech marketing – from demand to retention marketing, customer advocacy, and public relations. I have been lucky to live and raise my family in New Mexico, Vermont, and New Jersey, providing a personal and deep understanding of how public education varies across the country.
