Rebecah Deans
I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Mathematics at CU Boulder, advised by Markus Pflaum. My research interests lie in the intersection of differential geometry and mathematical physics. My current studies focus on jet theory and formal integrability of PDEs, particularly in relation to the Einstein Field Equation.
I am originally from southwestern Virginia.
I love reading, knitting/crocheting, playing piano, and animals (especially my two cats, Ernest Hemingway and George Orwell, and my cocktail of sled dogs named Toby). I live in Longmont with my husband Collin and aforementioned animals.
Education:
Ph.D. in Mathematics, University of Colorado at Boulder, 2020-present, expected graduation May 2026.
