Mason Angel

Mason Angel is a senior at the University of Kentucky studying Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering with a focus in bioenvironmental engineering. He is from Harrodsburg, Kentucky and has been living in Lexington for the past four years. Mason is currently working at Link-belt Cranes as a Fabrication and Weld Engineer in Production Engineering Department. Additionally, Mason has been employed by the University of Kentucky Athletic Department (Sports Turf) and Hitachi Automotive Products in the Design Engineering Department.

Drew Pomerleau

Drew Pomerleau is from Shepherdsville, KY and is a senior at the University of Kentucky. Drew is studying Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering with a focus in bioenvironmental engineering. For the past two years, Drew has worked at Building and Earth Science as an engineering technician. In the previous years, Drew has also worked as a surveyor's assistant for companies Ensight and Louisville Paving Company.

Coleman Stivers

Coleman Stivers is a senior at the University of Kentucky studying Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering with a focus on controlled environments. Additionally, he is pursuing a Power Energy Institute of Kentucky Certificate and is a member of the Lewis Honors College. Coleman is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. On campus, he is a member of the University of Kentucky (UK) Dining Advisory Committee, has served as a coordinator for DanceBlue, was a peer mentor for the Engineering Living and Learning Program, and was a member of the 2017 UK Engineering Leadership Program. Coleman represented UK as one of six ‘Cultivators’ at the 2017 Farm Foundation Round Table. Off campus, he is an active member of Kentucky Farm Bureau, where he serves on the Fayette County Farm Machinery Auction Committee. Coleman worked in the UK Biosystems Engineering department in 2015, helping manage the design and install of over 3,000 square feet of butterfly gardens. He is in his third year working at Big Ass Solutions. In his current role as a Future Products Project Manager, Coleman has led eight different teams for everything from product commercialization, market research, to new product development. As a result of his work, he is a co-inventor on a 2014 patent, and the lead inventor on three 2017 patents. At the age of 10, Coleman and his younger brother started Stivers Brothers Produce and Honey. 12 years later, they are still selling locally grown produce and honey in the community.

Frances Tracy

Frances Tracy is from Fort Thomas, Kentucky, but has come to love Lexington as she has studied Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering with a focus in bioprocessing at the University of Kentucky. Frances has been involved in organizations on campus such as DanceBlue, Campus Outreach, and Alpha Delta Pi. She has been employed with the university as an Undergraduate Assistant for the Mathematics Department for two years where she enjoyed tutoring students and helped instructors in lecture. Frances also was employed with the College of Engineering as a Student Ambassador, which included traveling around the state to talk to potential students as well as host tours. Last fall, she interned with Hall Environmental Consulting, LLC, and enjoyed developing integrated environmental documentation for companies in Central Kentucky and evaluating industrial plants for waste and storm water issues and potential solutions. Frances is staying in Lexington after graduation and will be employed with UPS as a Plant Engineering Supervisor.
