What are BITS?
BITS = Behaviour, Impact, Thought, Support
These are the teamโs special points (like an internal currency). You can only earn and spend them inside the Real Humans Lichess team. ๐ฐ

How to Earn BITS (4 Main Ways)
1. Invite New Members ๐ฅ
5 BITS for every new player who joins (they leave = you lose the BITS).
Big bonuses for inviting strong players (2500+ rating or titled players like FM, IM, GM). Easy way to grow the team and your balance! ๐
2. Play Team Events ๐ (Biggest source for most members)
Team Battles: Earn BITS based on points you score.
Rough guide: 15 BITS/point in 3+0, 30 BITS/point in 8+0, more in longer games; less in shorter games.
Team wins boost everything โ 1st place gives ร5 multiplier, 2nd ร3, 3rd ร2! ๐
Solo performance also multiplies your earnings (higher arena score = bigger multiplier, up to ร10).
Streaks: Consistent Top 10 finishes in big battles give extra multipliers. ๐ฅ
In-Team Arenas: Simple โ 1 BIT per arena point.
3. Achievements ๐ค
Complete special goals and claim rewards by messaging a leader.
The ultimate one? Play 10,000 team battles โ 100,000,000 BITS! ๐
4. Leadership Salary โจย
(Monthly, starts Feb 2026)
Top leaders get paid BITS at the start of each month if they played in at least 5 team events that month. Higher rank = bigger salary (up to 100,000 BITS). ๐ธ
