Over the summer in 2017, my family took a vacation to Chile. I had a blast spending time in Santiago and Villarrica. We visited national parks, water falls, hot springs heated by local volcanoes, volcanoes, downtown where there are many cute shops and restaurants, etc. Because I'm in the Spanish Immersion Program we have interns that come and help in the classrooms. My family has hosted 4 interns and one of them was from Chile so we spent a lot of time with her and her family while we were there. I got to practice my Spanish a lot while we were there too so that was pretty cool.
During that same summer we spent a week in Bolivia. We spent time in La Paz, Copacabana, Coroico and El Alto. Two of the other interns that we have hosted were from Bolivia so we visited them while we were there, too.
