This year my mom and I started a community service club that plans events and goes out into the community and helps the hispanic population. Not too long ago we helped a church called Pueblo de Dios make tamales for a fundraiser. We made over 1000 tamales with people from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico, Colombia, etc. We got to learn how to spread the "masa" on the corn husk and add meat and then how to steam them. It was a very long process but I had a blast.
