Joelle - I wanted to share the good news! As you know, E entered 4th grade with a reading level that was about the middle of first grade.  I got a report from his teacher that in his last progress monitoring, he clocked in as a 3rd grade reader! I was blown away.  I had told myself not to have any expectations of where he needed to be and I'm in awe!  You have made such an impact on him.  While he may give you a run for your money...you're his safe place and every week he checks in to make sure he is still meeting with you.  I have not heard even one word asking if he could skip.  Thank you SO much for empowering him.  You fill his bucket! 🪣

Just wanted to give you an amazing update. We had J's parent teacher conference and his reading words per minute has jumped from 18 to 49 since August when we started working with you.  🥳

J went from testing at a kindergarten level in August to now in late November testing just shy of grade level - 3rd grade! Not only has she improved on her skills, but her confidence.  That first test was met with tears and panic.  Today, she asked to do another one after she was done! 🎉

Ok. I just have to share with you.  I am beyond grateful for all of the help and intervention you are providing for Z.  She was at a 4th grade level with regard to reading and her comprehension etc at the beginning of the school year...she just finished testing today and it's showing that she is at a 6TH GRADE LEVEL with figuring out vocabulary, comprehending literature, AND IS AT AN EARLY 7TH GRADE LEVEL with comprehending informational text!  Still have more more to do but wanted to share the impact you are having with the help you are providing.  My heart is full right now! Thanks again! I am just beyond grateful!
