Virtual (live) Sessions for parents/caregivers 

Reading in Spanish

Participants of Reading in Spanish are invited to join in-person virtual sessions to learn how to pronounce Spanish and how this pronunciation relates to written text.

4-week workshop

 The in-person virtual sessions are organized in a series of four sessions around the following topics:

1. Pronouncing and reading simple consonants & simple vowels

2. Pronouncing and reading vowels in combination

3. Pronouncing and reading SPECIAL Spanish sounds/letters

4. Using different letters for the same sound:  j, g, gu, s, z, c, qu

Live Sessions for family group reading, children & adults

Participants of Reading in Spanish are invited to join in-person sessions with their children and other family members to read in a structured group setting for 20-30 minutes.

Depending on family interest:   ZOOM

All in-person learning sessions for adults/caregivers in 2025 are held remotely via Zoom.

Participants will have to ensure that they have Zoom software downloaded to the device that they will use to participate.  

If you do not currently have Zoom software on your device, the Zoom software should automatically download (if your device permits automatic downloads) when you select a link to join a Zoom session.
