The Reading in Spanish initiative was started as a way for parents, family members and friends of Spanish-speaking children to support a love of reading in Spanish and increased use of Spanish at home and in the community.
This initiative provides on-line and in-person support for those who would like to participate in a young person's language and literacy development in SPANISH.
Specifically, Reading in Spanish provides resources to help adults with Spanish pronunciation AND more fluid reading of Spanish texts so that Spanish-speaking children can have increased and regular exposure to the language every day and in different modalities: spoken and written.
