Delete your ReadAI account and data
This page applies to the ReadAI mobile app on Android and iOS (Android package: dev.tfox.readai).
Request deletion in the App
1. Open ReadAI and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Profile.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm the deletion request.
ReadAI will submit the request and sign you out. This is the fastest method because the request is associated with the authenticated account.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the App, email adana160493@gmail.com from the address linked to your ReadAI account. Use the subject ReadAI account deletion request and state that you want the account and associated data deleted. Do not send passwords, verification codes, identity documents, book files, or other sensitive content. We may reply with a limited verification step to protect the account from unauthorized deletion.
What is deleted
After verification, ReadAI deletes or de-identifies the account and associated server-stored personal data, including account profile data, uploaded user content under that account, reading progress, notes, bookmarks, flashcards, translations, and other account-linked service content, subject to the exceptions below.
Data stored only on your device is not remotely controlled by ReadAI. To remove it, clear ReadAI's storage in Android settings or delete the App from your iPhone or iPad.
What may be retained
ReadAI may retain limited records when required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, payment-dispute, or compliance purposes. Deletion-request records and minimal audit information may also be retained to demonstrate that the request was handled. Residual copies may remain in restricted backups until overwritten in the ordinary backup cycle. Retained data is not used to provide the deleted account with ordinary App services.
Processing time and subscriptions
Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel active subscriptions separately in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings to prevent future renewal.

Delete specific data without deleting your account
You can remove individual books, notes, bookmarks, flashcards, and other user-created items with the corresponding delete action in the App. To request deletion of specific server-stored data while keeping your account, email adana160493@gmail.com from the address linked to your ReadAI account. Use the subject ReadAI data deletion request and identify the categories of data you want deleted; do not attach sensitive content. We may verify account ownership before processing the request. The retention exceptions and processing period described on this page also apply to partial deletion requests.
