in 2020 the head of state in Malawi declared state of emergency and banned assembly of more than 50 people to as a way of preventing covid-19. All schools, colleges and universities were closed, pupils and students are idol in their homes as such more pregnancies, spread of HIV and Covid-19 was accelerating.
The government of Malawi put in place policies were in all ministries to prevent the spreading of the pandemic. For example, carrying capacity for the passengers in the public transport was reduced and services from the lodges and other tourist centers were suspended and in addition all national boarders were also closed.
It is with this background that Reach Out For Life (ROFL) implemented a Digital (Online) Awareness and Learning Program. The Program used online flyers, music videos, audios and awareness videos to raise awareness on covid-19 and the impacts of it.
The goal of the campaign was to educate, inspire, motivate and prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COvid-19), HIV/AIDs and communicable diseases among Malawians.
