The Research Enhancing Access to Culturally-Informed Mental Health Services (REACH) Lab is a research team in the Department of Psychological Science at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). Co-directed by Drs. Bianca Villalobos and Juventino Hernandez Rodriguez, the lab is dedicated to increasing access to evidence-based and culturally sensitive mental health services for underserved populations. Our Mission
Applying to graduate school can be confusing and stressful. Many students do not know where to access information and support, which makes the process even more difficult. Our mission is to provide guidance and point students to resources.
This website is maintained by Dr. Juventino Hernandez Rodriguez and his graduate students. The graduate students (Website Managers) have been instrumental in gathering, organizing, and sharing resources.

Hi! My name is Diana and I am a 1st year student in UTRGV's Clinical Psychology Master's program. There were so many things I wish I had known when I was an undergraduate student. Back then, I had felt very lost about the application process and I hope I can help students who were once in a similar position as me.

Hi! My name is Isabel and I am a 2nd year student in UTRGV's Clinical Psychology Master's program. I am a first-generation college student that was able to get into a graduate program with the help of faculty and mentors. I know how important it is to have guidance when applying to programs, so I am interested in helping other low-income/underrepresented students get into graduate programs.
