Mr. Davis has been active in public service and served as former president of the Lexington Park Rotary Club and served as an active member of the Leonardtown Lions Club. Mr. Davis has also served on the St. Mary's Board of Elections, currently a member of the St. Mary's County Pubic Schools Board of Education, was Chairman of the Airport Advisory Board and has performed numerous charity events for the homeless and disadvantaged in southern Maryland. Mr. Davis is also a member of the St. Mary's County Arts Council and Friends of the Library.
