R&D may deploy into the field for:

• Technology recovery missions
  
  

• Site investigations
  
  

• Testing experimental equipment
  
  

Field rules:

• Must be escorted by Enclave Army or Security Forces
  
  

• R&D personnel do not lead combat operations
  
  

• If an R&D asset is endangered, mission priority becomes asset extraction

• All experiments require:
  
  

  • Proper documentation
    
    

  • Command authorization for live testing
    
    

• Human experimentation:
  
  

  • Restricted to approved test subjects
    
    

  • Requires High Command or Director approval
    
    

• Failures are documented, not punished — unless caused by negligence
