Welcome to the River City High School Boys Soccer website! Our goal is to remain consistent in our quest for Academic and Athletic success as we strive to create an inclusive and positive culture. Our student athletes will be challenged to pursue academic excellence, while competing on the pitch. We appreciate our families and friends who continue to support the program. 

River City will compete in the Monticello Empire League (MEL) for the 2025/2026 season. This is our second season in the MEL and we look forward to the challenges and competition. 

Please feel free to contact our coaches with any questions or concerns that you have. For parents and players inquiring about playing time, please note that at this level, we are considered competitive level athletes and players must earn playing time with attendance, effort, skill, and academic eligibility. We are not required to play everyone but we do our best to develop and insert players into games throughout the season. Players not happy with rosters must reflect internally and understand that roster decisions are made based on fit, commitment, skill, and playing time. Playing on a higher level team and not getting game minutes vs. playing down and receiving meaningful minutes is better for player development and overall enjoyment.
