The slide show shows students finding the perimeter of the classroom as collaborative group.  They were using their  skills and knowledge to determine the perimeter of the classroom .  Students went as far as drawing a rectangle to represent the floor of the classroom and recorded the measurements observed .  This activity was also made even more complexed , where the students needed to express the measurement of each length and perimeter using more than one unit of measurement .  For example inches and feet . 

Problem -solving to learning was applied to this activity.  Students were giving an opportunity to develop their critical thinking skills , collaborative skills and communication.
