 To ensure Roblox is a safe place for everyone to be themselves, the following are not allowed:

- Child Exploitation

- Terrorism and Violent Extremism

- Threats, Bullying, and Harassment

- Suicide, Self-Harm, or Dangerous Behavior

- Discrimination, Insults, and Hate Speech

- Harmful Speech or Behavior Off-Platform

- Illegal and Regulated Goods and Activities

- Indecent Content

- Political Figures and Entities

- Fraud and Scams

- Spam

- Intellectual Property Infringements

- Sharing Personal Information

Roblox incorporates several safety features to protect users, especially younger ones. These include account restrictions, chat filtering, reporting tools, and parental controls. Parents can manage their child's account, setting content maturity levels, limiting who their child can interact with, and monitoring screen time.  

Chat & Privacy

All chat on Roblox is filtered to prevent inappropriate content and personally identifiable information from being visible on the site. Players have different safety settings and experiences based on their age.

Players aged 12 and younger have their posts and chats filtered both for inappropriate content and to prevent personal information from being posted.

Players aged 13 and older have the ability to say more words and phrases than younger players. This filtering system covers all areas of communication on Roblox, public and private.

Blocking Users & Reporting Abuse

You can block other users that may be harassing, bullying, or spamming your child. For more information on this feature, read How to Block Another User.

Roblox has content restrictions to ensure a safe environment for all users, especially younger players. These restrictions are managed through Parental Controls and Content Maturity settings, allowing parents to tailor the experience for their children. Roblox also has a Restricted Content Policy that outlines prohibited content.  

These Standards apply to the Restricted Experiences you create on Roblox except where otherwise impacted. Local law or regulation may impose additional requirements on this content. 

Roblox do not allow content that contains:

• Romantic or flirtatious gestures or communication between users in a romantic context

• Pursuing or soliciting romantic relationships online

• Engaging in unwanted flirtatious behavior

• Engaging in sexually explicit conversations or soliciting sexual material from other users

• Content or behavior that depicts, implies, or explicitly describes sexual acts

• Nudity, partial nudity or other content produced for sexual arousal

• Sexually suggestive content or behavior, including but not limited to: avatar bodies, assets and clothes, avatar emotes, or settings/environments in experiences

• Animal abuse and torture

• Real-world depictions of extreme gore, graphic violence, or death

• The depiction, support, or glorification of war crimes or human rights violations, including torture

• The depiction, support, or glorification of real-world mass shootings and/or terrorism 

• Illegal and regulated drugs, including marijuana and the misuse of prescription or over-the-counter drugs, and the depiction of intoxication as a result of these substances

• Drugs, tobacco, vaping, or other smoking paraphernalia

• Dietary supplements and enhancers such as weight loss pills and steroids

• Slurs or hate speech

• Strong Language used in a sexual context
