Our project members about first mobility "Basic financial terms"

School: 1 EPAL Agriniou

Teachers: Theodora Simou, Aikaterini Touska

Students: Esmeralnta Antilai, Antigoni Apostolou

We, the teachers Theodora Simou and Aikaterini Touska, as well as our students Esmeralnta Antilai and Antigoni Apostolou, are so excited to have attended, together with our partners from Portugal, Croatia and Turkey the 1st “Raising Youth Generation Through Financial Literacy” (RaYGeTFil) Project Partnership Meeting which was held at Escola Profissional de Campanha in Porto, Portugal. During our visit there, students and teachers participated in activities related to Financial Literacy. The students working cooperatively in teams searched for information on the net and presented basic financial terms and concepts as well as financial institutions of their country. They had also created videos with prices of basic products being on sale in the city they live so as to develop skills having to do with money management. The Portuguese teachers were very hospitable and did their best to make our stay there pleasant and interesting. All in all, it was a unique experience for both teachers and students as they discovered new cultures, strengthened their language and intercultural skills and embraced the European values of respect and diversity.

And it goes without saying that such an experience not only deserves but also has to be shared.
