Anylabels.eu is a unique web application that allows you to design any label size from a wide variety of label shapes. It helps you to minimalize cost per label by offering you to design your own label layout, sheet format and orientation and select the right material.

By default all the available shapes are listed on the first tab. In order to narrow it down, you can filter either by a label group or a label category. You can select one or more to specify the shapes you want to get.

Import the PDF into the graphics program and save it as a dedicated layer. Perform all artwork on new layers. Check the register between artwork and label position by proof printing all layers. Finally turn off the print option for the template layer or delete for final output.

When printing the labels make sure the printers paper type is set to its thicker material setting. (eg. labels/PlainPaperH ). This will optimise the heat and print speed for bestprint results. In Word this is found in Print/Properties/Paper Source/Paper Type.

In Word 2013, you can create and print mailing address labels. Actually, you can create labels for any purpose! When you find the label you want, check to see if there's a template for it in Word. Templates can save a lot of time because all the setup is done for you.

1. Download the Illustrator template. Go to the Roll Labels page and choose your product options. Once you have chosen your last option scroll down and click on the Ai icon to download the template.

You also need to be careful as to how you enter the measurements. All of your measurements (except for number across and number down) must be expressed as a value, followed by a single blank space, and then the unit symbol for the measurement being used. In other words, if the label width is 70mm you MUST enter this as 70 mm.

This opens a new document containing your label template. In Word, label templates are made using a table where the cells of the table represent your blank labels (and any gaps between them). Word label templates, therefore, cannot show any shaping on rectangular labels and square labels (such as rounded corners) and cannot show the outline of round labels and oval labels. Instead, each blank label will be represented by a rectangle or square into which each label will fit with its outermost points touching the four sides of the table cell.

You may also want to make a few formatting changes. For example, we recommend centralising label templates and the contents of label templates to ensure that your design fits neatly inside each blank label.

To centralise the content of your template (or choose whatever alignment you prefer), select the whole table as described above and select one of the nine icons contained in the Alignment section towards the right hand side of the Table Tools Layout tab.

Labeling of radiation-emitting products applies to all products which emit sonic, infrasonic, or ultrasonic radiation as the result of operation of an electronic circuit. It thus applies to medical devices which emit sonic, infrasonic, or ultrasonic radiation as the result of operation of an electronic circuit in addition to the general labeling requirements for medical devices. Radiation-emitting devices include electronic products that emit radiation either by design (e.g., X-ray equipment) or as a consequence of operation (e.g., television set), but exclude products that emit radiation as a result of the decay of a radioactive element or isotope (e.g., an ionization type smoke detector). Section 358 of the Radiation Control for Health and Safety Act (RCHSA) of 1968 authorizes the development of Federal standards for these types of radiation producing products. These standards are contained within the regulations listed under 21 CFR Part 1000. The corresponding regulations are listed by product type in subsequent headings of this section. This booklet will cover only those portions of these standards related to product labeling and will not attempt to address technical specifications contained in the standards. Thus, the nature and placement of labeling may vary from those discussed under GENERAL DEVICE LABELING REQUIREMENTS; however, the concepts of "label" and "labeling" remain the same, e.g., the "label" of a device might consist of a warning label on the console of an X-ray system, as well as a red indicator light on the panel; the "label" of a television receiver might consist not only of the name of the manufacturer, date of manufacture, and user caution statements, but also of labels inside the receiver to high voltages and X-ray shielding.

This section will cover labeling of radiation-emitting medical and other electronic devices. Due to the amount of technical data contained in the corresponding sections of the CFR, reprints of the CFR sections pertaining to laser labeling will be used where appropriate to demonstrate format requirements. Lasers are devices capable of producing intense radiation at a specific wavelength both for medical and industrial purposes. The DIG System is the nonradioactive technology of choice to label and detect nucleic acids for multiple applications. The system is based on a steroid isolated from digitalis plants (Digitalis purpurea and Digitalis lanata). These plants are the only natural source of digoxigenin, so the anti-DIG antibody does not bind to other biological material, ensuring specific labeling.
