Rawan Ghnemat is an accomplished computer scientist specializing in artificial intelligence and data mining. She received her PhD in Computer Science with distinction from Le Havre University, France in 2009, where she was a recipient of a French government scholarship.

Currently, Dr. Ghnemat holds the position of associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) in Jordan. Throughout her career, Dr. Ghnemat has actively pursued research in artificial intelligence and data mining, resulting in several scientific publications. Her research interests include computer vision and machine learning, and she strives to collaborate with experts in these fields to develop innovative solutions that have a positive impact on society.

Dr. Ghnemat has demonstrated her commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry by collaborating with organizations such as the Jordan Open-Source Association (JOSA) and designing curricula aligned with industry standards. Her efforts have helped students gain practical skills that are applicable in real-world scenarios.

Notably, Dr. Ghnemat has been involved in research projects such as the development of a Computer-Aided Diagnosis tool for ophthalmologists to use in Diabetic Retinopathy routine check-ups. Her research endeavors have also been recognized through project proposals, including the successful acceptance of the "Bringing Data Literacy to Jordan (BDL2JO)" project funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
