Rathana Phin is a Cambodia-based journalist, researcher, media fixer, and business intelligence specialist with more than six years of experience supporting local and international clients.
He began his journalism career as a trainee at Newsroom Cambodia in 2020 and has since contributed to local and international media outlets through both freelance and full-time roles. He started reporting with VOD English before providing freelance reporting and consultancy services to media organizations, NGOs, and businesses. He later joined B2B Asia News as a staff journalist and editor.
His bylines have appeared in Kiripost, CamboJA, VOD English, and B2B Asia News. His reporting and research have also contributed—both with and without byline credit—to stories published by The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Nikkei Asia, The New York Times, Reuters, RTL Nieuws, and other international publications.
Rathana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Paragon International University in Phnom Penh. He closely follows politics, business, and defense affairs in Cambodia, as well as broader developments across Southeast Asia and East Asia.
