We have learned a great deal in our first three weeks together. This week we will end with a creative day where you have the chance to explore on your own based on what you have learned this week.
It is actually a huge moment to celebrate that you have made it this far.
For the days like this you task is to experiment with what you have learned so far and using your creative freedoms to make something new with your skills.
All I ask is that you share in Slack what you created. Post a picture, video, or whatever format you want to share for what you created.
Have fun
Be bold
Be brave
Create someting of your own. Sketch out an idea and make it come alive! Share code, video, and work you have created so we can all celebrate and learn from you.
If you are stuck for ideas here are some from the Raspberry Pi Project Pages to get you going by choosing one of these.
Here are three projects using physical computing and Scratch - https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/projects?software%5B%5D=scratch&hardware%5B%5D=electronic-components
Try some of our other physical computing projects which use Python:
Burping jelly baby - turn a jelly baby into an input device for your Raspberry Pi.
GPIO music box - make a device thats plays music when you push its buttons.
Quick Reaction Game - use electronics to create a quick reaction game which you will program using Python.
Build a robot buggy - build a robot buggy that you can program to move around using simple Python commands.
In Slack submit photos and video of what you accomplished today. Be sure to share any code, physical computing demos, and learning that came with the learning.
In the Slack Channel
What are you proud of yourself that you completed this week? New learning, new skills, overcoming obstacles?
Share a picture/video of your creative exploration from today
What ideas have you started to generate for the R.Pi after spending this week exploring and getting things set up?
