Welcome to the Course

I want to first start off by congratulating you… Seriously!

Not many people take action and start learning a skill using hardware that can be intimidating to many people. There is no need to be intimidated, but it happens more than you know. People see the Raspberry Pi and feel that it can seem so difficult. So thank you for improving yourself and inherently improving the world.

As computer science continues to grow in many states and in our state of Iowa now being required in K-12 setting the Raspberry Pi can be a powerful tool to teach some incredible concepts and skills.

The skills you build from this course can and will be used for the rest of your life.

You will be able to build your own solutions to difficult problems in the real world with knowledge from this course.

You will be able to automate tasks that continuously burden you on the day-to-day.

And you will be able to make some of the most amazing and unique gifts for your friends and family. (probably the BEST feeling in the world)

There are countless benefits to the journey of learning about the Raspberry Pi. You are at ground zero so be sure to take it slow and be patient with yourself learning a new skill.
