I worked with a team of four designers to conduct an in-depth research on the ideal experience of skincare routine for young people. As a team, we did both secondary research and primary research on our topic. For our primary research, we conducted 11 in-depth interviews, 8 diary studies, observation at 4 skincare shops (Ulta, Soapery, Nourish and BlueMercury), and surveys. We got a total of 200 responses for our survey. In total, we collected over 700 data points from our research in 7 weeks. After collecting all the data, we analyzed the data and simplified it into a framework that is easier to understand for the clients. We took inspiration from Lextant and learned from their frameworks to create one for our research topic. Finally, we condensed and organized all our research findings into a magazine!
