Reliable and Secure Autonomous Systems Lab

Welcome to the home page of the Reliable and Secure Autonomous Systems (RaSAS) laboratory at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.  We are interested in problems that arise in ensuring the security and reliability of safety-critical cyber-physical systems such as unmanned aircraft systems, autonomous underwater vehicles, and autonomous ground vehicles. We use tools from control theory, formal methods, and runtime verification to find solutions to such problems. For further details on our research projects, please visit our research page.   

Available Positions

AI/ML Engineers

Qualification & Experience: We are looking for motivated AI/ML engineers to work on a challenging and industry relevant problem. The applicant should have BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience in developing and applying AI/ML algorithms or PhD in any discipline with thesis focused on developing and applying AI/ML algorithms. Working knowledge of Matlab and AI/ML tools such as Scikit-learn or Tensorflow or Keras or PyTorch is essential. Experience in developing and applying AI/ML algorithms for cyber-physical systems is desirable. 

Duration: One year. The appointment will be initially for 6 months, and it will be extended for another 6 months based on performance. 

Job Description: The engineer would be working on developing computationally efficient probabilistic machine learning algorithms to perform the following tasks: i) Identify the nature and type of targets based on noisy and uncertain measurements; ii) Predict the intent of a group of targets.
