Welcome to my homepage!
Since September 2026, I am an assistant professor (tenure track) in the department of mathematics at ETH Zurich. My research interests are in discrete mathematics and didactics for higher education. Here you can find my CV, my list of publications (last update: June 2026) and my Google Scholar profile. This is an ETH News-Article about me.
From September 2023 to Augst 2026, I was an SNSF Ambizione Fellow and the principal investigator of the SNSF Ambizione grant 216071 Graph coloring motivated by Hadwiger's conjecture. The grant funded my first own PhD student at ETH, Micha Christoph. My project was hosted by Prof. Benny Sudakov in the mathematics department from September 2024-August 2026 and by Prof. Angelika Steger in the computer science department from September 2023 to August 2024.
From September 2021 to August 2023 , I was an ETH Zürich Postdoctoral Fellow working in the Combinatorial Structures and Algorithms group led by Angelika Steger.
I did my PhD in mathematics from September 2018 to August 2021 at Technische Universität Berlin under the supervision of Stefan Felsner. During my PhD, I was part of the graduate program Facets of Complexity.
I am an editor in the graph theory and discrete algorithms sections of the open access journal Discrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science.
In my spare time, I love to sing and play chess and other strategical board games such as quoridor.
