"Sick" is a raw and emotional poem about exhaustion not from illness but from life's pressures, disrespect, and being constantly misunderstood. It captures the frustration of feeling overlooked, doubted, and drained by the actions of others. At the same time the poem holds onto hope and believing that one day this heaviness won't last forever.
I'm sick
But not sick physically
Not even mentally
But I'm sick
I'm sick of the lies
I'm sick of the manipulative people
I'm sick of the false accusations
I'm sick of being stressed
I'm sick of being overlooked
I'm sick of underperforming
I'm sick of being talked down on
I'm sick of being talked about
I'm sick of people talking to me crazy
I'm sick of being doubted
I'm sick of people acting like they don't see neither hear me.
I'm just so freaking sick
But there will come a day where I'm no longer sick
And I truly believe that
But for right now
I'm sick of being sick
