Effective date: 17 Aug 2026
Applies to the Android application PadLink, published by DAVIDA.
The short version. PadLink has no servers and no user accounts with us. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Everything the app stores — your paired consoles, your control layouts, your settings and your pairing keys — stays on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
PadLink is developed and published by {{DEVELOPER_LEGAL_NAME}} ("we", "us"). For any question about this policy, contact davutyakut04@gmail.com. We respond to privacy requests within 30 days.
PadLink lets you view and control a game console that you own, from your own Android phone, over your own local network. The app talks directly to your console. It does not route your video, audio, input or credentials through any server operated by us, because we operate none.
None. PadLink contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking identifiers. We receive no data from your use of the app.
The following is stored locally on your phone only. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
What
Why
Where it is stored
Console name, model, IP address and pairing identifier
So you do not have to re-pair every time you play
Local database on the device
Pairing key (registration secret) for each console
Required by the console to accept a Remote Play session
Encrypted storage backed by the Android Keystore
PlayStation Network account identifier
Required by the console protocol to pair. Obtained once, during sign-in
Encrypted storage backed by the Android Keystore
Your control layouts, chosen skin, language and app settings
To keep the app the way you configured it
Local database and local preferences
Deleting a console in Settings → Paired consoles erases that console's saved pairing key. Uninstalling PadLink erases everything listed above.
Pairing with a console requires a PlayStation Network account identifier. Sign-in is performed by your browser (Android Custom Tabs) on Sony's own website. PadLink never displays a password field, never receives your password, and never stores your PSN credentials. Only the resulting account identifier is kept, encrypted, on your device.
Your use of PlayStation Network is governed by Sony Interactive Entertainment's own terms and privacy policy. We are not affiliated with Sony and have no access to your PSN account.

PadLink does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, call logs, SMS, or device file storage.
We share nothing, because we hold nothing. There are no third-party processors, no advertising partners and no data brokers involved in PadLink.
Network traffic created by the app goes to two destinations only: your console on your own network, and — during sign-in only — Sony's authentication service in your browser.
PadLink is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. The app is intended for users aged 13 and over (16 where required by local law), consistent with the account age requirements of the console platform it connects to.
Rights such as access, correction, deletion and portability under the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws apply to personal data held by a company. We hold none of yours, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or delete. You retain complete control of the locally stored data described in section 4, which you can erase at any time from within the app or by uninstalling it.
Pairing keys and the account identifier are encrypted using the Android Keystore, so they are bound to your device and not readable by other apps. Traffic to your console uses the encryption defined by the console's own Remote Play protocol. No security measure is perfect, but no data of yours ever leaves your device through us.
PadLink is free software distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3.0, and builds on the chiaki-ng Remote Play engine. The complete corresponding source code for each released version is published. You are free to inspect every claim made in this policy against that source.
If a future version of PadLink introduces anything that collects data — for example advertising or crash reporting — this policy will be updated before that version is published, the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated to match, and the change will be described in the release notes. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the version currently in force.
