I am a budding research scholar pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Biosciences & Bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

I completed my master's degree in zoology (with a specialization in biochemistry & molecular biology) from the Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). And I did my B.Sc. in zoology from the University of Calcutta.

I was awarded the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship in 2021.

Driven by a strong interest in tissue engineering and drug delivery, I joined the research group of Prof. Samir K. Maji at IIT Bombay. My current research focuses on the development of peptide-based amyloid hydrogels and their applications in biotechnology, particularly in drug delivery and tissue engineering. I am also exploring the potential of amyloid hydrogels as long-acting drug depots in diabetes models.
Driven by a strong interest in tissue engineering and drug delivery, I joined the research group of Prof. Samir K. Maji at IIT Bombay. My current research focuses on the development of peptide-based amyloid hydrogels and their applications in biotechnology, particularly in drug delivery and tissue engineering. I am also exploring the potential of amyloid hydrogels as long-acting drug depots in diabetes models.
Through my research, I aspire to contribute meaningfully to translational healthcare solutions and improve therapeutic strategies for chronic diseases. Beyond the laboratory, I am an avid reader who enjoys traveling, discovering new places, and engaging with diverse people and perspectives.
