Manas Ranjan Behera
Mr. Manas Ranjan Behera has obtained his M.Sc. (Applied Geology) from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He joined Dr. Dwari’s Research Group in august 2019 as research scholar under AcSIR with CSIR-NET-JRF Fellowship. His research interest is to study the effect of ore petrography on the performance characteristics of the novel Pulse Bed Mineral Scrubber (PBMS); understanding the particle hydrodynamics; optimization of design variables; and downstream processes of PBMS products.
Gayatri D Hazare
Gayatri Hazare holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Shivaji University in Kolhapur. In 2019, she joined CSIR-IMMT as a Project Assistant-II in the mineral processing Department, where she worked on the project "Optimization of flotation process for Indian coking coal using advanced pneuflot flotation cell" under the supervision of Dr. R K Dwari. Presently she is working on the project titled "Development of green surfactants for mineral flotation and flocculation; molecular level design, characterization and synthesis". She is pursuing an IDDP (M.Tech+PhD) programme under AcSIR at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneshwar. Her research interests include fine particle processing, surface chemistry, surfactant synthesis from renewable resources and their applications in mineral processing.
