Biography
Dr Dwari joined CSIR IMMT as a scientist in Mineral Processing Department on 8th July 2008. He has completed several projects as Principal Investigator. Presently, he is workng as Principal Sientist. He did his M. Tech. (Chemical Engineering) from National Institute of Technology (2003), Rourkela and PhD from Lulea University of Technology (2008), Sweden. He also visited King Saud University for one year during 2014-15 as visiting scientist and lead an industry sponsored project. Dr Dwari contributed singnificantly in fine particulate processing of low-grade ore (iron, bauxite, chromite, and barite), coal, and industrial wastes using physical (dry/wet) and physicochemical processes. Development of fundamental understanding such as charge characteristics, interfacial phenomena, and process development of some of the poorly liberated and heterogeneous mineral systems with desired grade and recovery is very challenging. Through perseverance and technological intervention desired result has been achieved. Independently designed coal and mineral processing equipment and prototype are commissioned in the laboratory, and progress has been made for its scale-up and commercialisation. National and international patents are filed to protect the copyright of our novel work and published in highly reputed peer-reviewed SCI journals. The quality of research work is justified by publishing research articles in relatively high-impact journals such as Chemical Engineering Science, Chemical Engineering Journal, Int. J of Mining Science and Technology, Powder Technology, Advanced Powder Technology, Colloids and Surfaces A: Physico Chemical Aspect, Fuel, Minerals Engineering, and IJMP. Successfully developed processes for leading industries such as Tata Steel, JSPL, HINDALCO, BSBK, and GIMPEX, etc. Few industries have adopted process data and flowsheets for the set-up of commercial beneficiation plants.
