Kauf Smartplug

Bought from Amazon.  

plug in, wait for red blinking LED

Find wifi network "kauf-plug-..." and connect to it.  May have to wait a couple mins before it will connect

Select your wifi network, scroll down and enter password for it.  It will join your wifi now.

On router, find its ip address, and go to that address in a browser to open its webpage.

You may have to unplug and plug back in to reset before it joins wifi and ip address shows on router.

Go to the esphome diretory first

cd ~/documents/ESPhome

I decided to load tasmota into it, and run tasmota.

Download tasmota

Flashed plug, but it would no longer work, seems to have bricked it.
