International collaborative project: Time Social Distancing. Over nine labs from around the world collected data to investigate changes in individuals’ temporality, sleep patterns, personality traits and psychological wellbeing brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic induced lockdowns. For this, we collected data through behavioural tasks and questionnaires from people in around 9 countries. The data from India was collected by me under the guidance of my supervisor (Prof. Srinivasan, IIT-K). The global project is led by Prof. Virginie van Wassenhove, CNRS, France.
Many-Lab EEG replication. A multiple-laboratory global effort to replicate around twenty foundational and influential EEG findings in the field of Cognitive Science. This project is headed internationally by Prof. Yuri G. Pavlov, the Indian counterpart of the project has a team of myself and Prof. Srinivasan as a lead replicating lab for an EEG study done by Busch & VanRullen (2010).
Attention influences perceptual processing. Various studies have shown how shifting or scaling attention in space enhances spatial resolution and target discrimination. The question remains how it influences temporal resolution. In a study (preprint), we have shown that scaling attention in space results in a spatio-temporal trade-off in resolution.
