An Honours student can borrow up to three books via Lending Card.
A General student can borrow up to two books via Lending Card.
A Post Graduate student can borrow up to four books via Lending Card.
Each student can get up to five books for reading purpose via library Reading Card which must be returned by the student to the Librarian before leaving the library.
Every student can borrow their books for 15 days.
Students can renew their book if they want to extend the lending period.
A fine of Rs. 1.00 per day will be applicable if due date is over for books.
Every student must have to produce their library cards for accessing the library materials.
Transaction of books :
Monday - Friday : 11.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M.
Saturday : 11.00 A.M. to 1.30 P.M.
Sunday and Holiday closed.
The following collections are available only for consultation purpose inside the library and cannot be borrowed.

All kind of Dictionaries.
Current & Back Issues of Journals.
Magazines.
All books borrowed from the library must be returned within the stipulated due date. The librarian however, may recall any book before the due date.
Members who are moving out of station on leave, project work or any other work should make arrangement to return the books borrowed by them.
Overdue charges of Rs.1.00 per day per book.
Suspension of membership : If the member fails to return books even after 3 months from the due date the membership will be suspended until return of all overdue books standing in his/her name along with overdue charges.
Termination of membership : It may be recommended to terminate the membership of habitual defaulters.
Overdue charges shall be collected through the Conscience Box method and no receipt is issued for it.
In case of loss of books borrowed by the member, the member should immediately inform the library via written application to the librarian. Member shall be required to make good such loss, by replacing the title lost with same or latest edition available in the market along with overdue charges.
In case book is not available in the market then the actual cost of the book must have to pay along with the overdue charges.
If any book lost by the member then a fine of Rs. 50.00 have to pay along with the cost of the book.
If book that has been lost by the member is a volume or part of a set is not available for purchase separately, the member shall have to pay the cost of whole set.
Members are required to keep the books borrowed from the library in good physical condition and not to mark or damage the book.
Library card is one kind of ID-card, so keep it safe. Member is liable for any misuse of library card by others.
In the event of loss or theft of the library card, the member should immediately inform the circulation counter of the library.
After submitting an written application to the librarian, a duplicate card shall be issued on fine payment of Rs. 20.00.
