The "IoT-based Rainfall Monitoring and Mountain Collapse Alert System with GSM for Landslide Prevention" is an innovative project that aims to prevent landslides in mountainous regions. The system collects rainfall data using a "Rain Gauge" and sends them to a central database. It then calculates the rainfall and directly broadcasts advanced mountain collapse alerts in real-time environments using a buzzer. Additionally, the system also has GSM, which is responsible for SMS alerts. The microcontroller used in the project is the "ESP32 Dev kit v1," and the system features a power management system and battery backup for reliable operation. The 16x2 LCD display is used for displaying information about the system's current status. Overall, this project is a great example of how IoT technology can be used to prevent natural disasters and save lives.
