I am Rambahadur Gupta, a research scholar at Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi (B.H.U.), working in the field of Solar Astrophysics. In December 2023 I joined IIT-BHU as Institute TA-Ship, and have been working under the guidance of Dr. Bidya Binay Karak.

Originally I am from Bhojpur, Bihar, I moved to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, 4 years ago to study Masters in physical science at IIT-BHU, Varanasi. After completing my degree, I qualified GATE-2023, JEST-2023, and continue my study from here as research scholar.
Recently I am studying about the Sun magnetic features (like, Bipolar Magnetic Region, Ephemeral Regions, etc.) and its properties on the solar surface (Photosphere). My work is based on observation, data analysis, Image processing, and numerical methods.
Along with this I would like to play cricket, write poem, practicing yoga and meditation An avid runner. And I'm always open to new experiences, cultures, and ways of thinking.
