Ramapo Mountain Lakes, Inc.

Welcome to Ramapo Mountain Lakes Inc (RML). We are a NJ PRED(Planned Real Estate Development) based in Oakland, NJ. RML shareholders own Crystal Lake and Mirror Lake. The purpose of RML is serve our shareholders for the preservation of RML properties in compliance with NJ state and DEP regulations.  

PRED stands for Planned Real Estate Development. RML falls under NJ PREDFDA laws for how business is conducted.

In 2025, a new Board of Directors was elected to begin the difficult work of repairing what was left behind from the last board's reign. For too long, shareholders were met with secrecy instead of transparency, division instead of accountability, and decisions that damaged confidence in the very association meant to protect our shared community. The consequences are plain: trust was lost, dues payments collapsed, and the RML has been left struggling to maintain the lakes, dams, and vegetation control that every shareholder depends on. We cannot undo the damage of the past, but we can insist on a better future. The new Board is committed to honest leadership, open communication, and responsible management so that both Crystal Lake and Mirror Lake can be restored for the benefit of all shareholders.
