The British government categorised pregnant women as a high risk group in light of Covid-19, and we urge you more than ever to heed advice, including the advice of our Prophet s.a.w in the hadith of Jabir r. a. as mentioned in our Introduction.Â
We have continued to see a demand for information on fasting, and have therefore concluded that there is a need to provide reliable evidence-based research and fatawa, be it outside the remits of our current circumstances.
