Umm Hasan bint Salim graduated from Oxford University in Experimental Psychology and is the author of 'Heaven under your Feet: Pregnancy for Muslim Women'. She is an ABM trained breastfeeding peer supporter, a home educator, mum of seven and completed her 'Aalimiyyah course at Al-Qalam Institute, Leicester.

Ustadha Hafsah graduated in ‘Aalimiyyah studies from Jame’ah Uloomul Quran, Leicester in 2009 alongside studies with Shaykh Akram Nadwi. She is a mother of four and continues to study and teach Islamic Sciences, with a recent focus on Islamic counselling. She completed a Certification in Chaplaincy and volunteers in this capacity at a women’s prison.
