Ryan has spent most of his life in New Orleans and proudly calls the city home.
He is the father of two strong, independent, intelligent daughters, and they remain one of the accomplishments he is most proud of.
Ryan is also the kind of person who rarely sits still. He loves music, cars, good food, road trips, exploring new places, and spending time with the people he cares about. He’s known for his sense of humor, his stubborn determination, and his ability to find something to laugh about even on difficult days.
In April 2026, Ryan and I were married after nearly a year of navigating heart failure, kidney failure, transplant evaluations, medications, appointments, and uncertainty together.
Like a lot of people, Ryan never expected to find himself facing end-stage kidney disease or waiting for a transplant.
But even as his health challenges have grown, he has continued to work full-time, show up for his family, make plans for the future, and keep moving forward.
Rally for Ryan exists because kidney disease doesn’t pause life.
And because sometimes the most meaningful help comes from unexpected places.
Some snapshots of Ryan’s life in New Orleans, the city that shaped him and continues to show up for him.
