Volunteer, International Conference on STI 4.0: The 1st event of STI 2019 gathered around 12 distinguished keynote speakers, 200+ authors, 100+ senior academicians, 30+ industry practitioners from 20+ countries of the World. Approximately 500 researchers and faculty members from different national and international universities are expected to participate in the event online or onsite and promote their works through this platform to thousands of international students and academics within similar research domains. NASA Space App Challenge 2019, NASA had organized this event in 250 Cities Globally. From Bangladesh 9 Cities (Dhaka, Sylhet, Chittagong, Barisal, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, and Comilla) had participated in this Global Hack-a-Thon. It had involved approximately 50 lac students virtually, and nearly 1,00,000 (1 Lac) students reached in this event. NASA Space Apps Challenge is an international mass collaboration focused on space exploration that takes place over 48-hours in 250 cities around the world. The main responsibility was to guide the new student so that they can adjust to the university environment easily. British Council Book Reading Competition 2016, The British Council is organizing Book Reading competition since 2010. It is a leading outreach program for the British Council Library. This program is all about developing the reading habit and language proficiency in English through reading the simplified version of storybooks. Under the Book Beading Programme, a student’s progress is evaluated through a quiz competition. The participants are encouraged to read more books through a prize-giving ceremony. For BRAC University, Bangladesh, the British Council arranges the prize-giving ceremony thrice in a year for three different sessions (spring, summer and fall). The Guinness Book of World Records for Singing National Anthem, Bangladesh has been listed in the Guinness World Record for singing the national anthem by the largest number of people together in Dhaka on March 26. The Guinness World Record made the announcement on its official website this afternoon. “The most people singing a national anthem simultaneously is 254,537 and was achieved by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of the Peoples' Republic of Bangladesh at the National Parade Ground in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on 26 March 2014,” said the website. Earlier, the world record of the largest number of people singing national or regional anthem together belonged to Sahara India Pariwar (India). Some 1.21 lakh people sang India's national anthem at that event on May 6, last year in Lucknow. More than 2.5 lakh people gathered at the National Parade Ground in the capital on the Independence Day on March 26 and sang the national anthem together. As the clock struck 11:20 am, the “Amar Shonar Bangla...Ami Tomay Bhalobashi” chorus by as many as 254,681 people reverberated through the venue and its adjoining areas.
