Research

Thin film technology is changing the world, from thin film transistor to bendable mobile devices. This is a very active area of research nowadays. Thus, capability of depositing thin films is a must for any nanotechnology lab. But expense and complexity of such systems can be forbidding for some to step into this active area of research. Our aim of this project was to enable them with such a system that they can build themselves and simple enough to operate by themselves and get a taste of the technology. This report summaries that effort and enables anyone to follow along and build their first spray pyrolysis system and operate it safely. From their they can easily improve the setup and even approach more advance techniques.
